Deviled egg eyeballs are so fitting for All Hallows Eve’. They add a classy element to an occasion and are inexpensive to make. These deviled eggs are sure to bring a fright and go down well with adults as well as children.
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons of mustard
3/4 teaspoon paprika
5 black olives, cut in half
Fill a large pan with hot water and boil for 4 minutes until bubbling, place the eggs into the water and cover pan with a lid and bring water to a boil for an additional 7 minutes. Turn off heat, cover eggs with cold water and let them sit for 5 minutes.
Drain eggs and peel off the shells. Rinse off any excel shell and cut each one in half length waste .
Carefully scoop the yolk from eggs and place in a medium bowl. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, and paprika to bowl.
Stir until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Using a piping tip and resealable plastic bag, fill the centers of the white eggs. Top each egg half with half an olive – this will serve as the pupil.
