Boat trip with champagne

Broad tours, departing from Wroxham cruise along either River Ant or River Bure, prices from £55 per person (with champagne), under 5 go free and £1 per pets. On boat bar offering alcoholic and soft drinks. 15 minute drive from Norfolk Park

Christmas market

North Walsham Christmas Festival- The Atrium- 10am -3pm, free admission.  Live entertainment, kitchen theatre, Christmas films and Father Christmas Location is Market Place, North Walsham, Norfolk NR28 9BP 10 minute walk or 4 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Thrigby Hall & Wildlife Gardens with picnic prepared by The Olive Tree.

The park opens from 10am, animals include, tigers, crocs, monkeys, snakes and leopards. 35 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Dinosaur Adventure Park.

This opens at 9.30am, Adults £10.95, Children 3-15 £15.95, children under 3 free. Over 100 acres of woods and park land, explore the dinosaur trail, meet the animals and new creepy crawlies in the secret animal garden, indoor play area, raptor races, Jurassic putt, lost world amazing adventures and much more. Meet Santa between 5th December- 13th December. 38 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Happisburgh Beach

Beautiful sandy beach which is pet friendly, features a light house, perfect for coastal walks, and play area for children. 15 minute drive from the park.

Horsey Beach

Sandy beach coastal  walk , between November and December you can see over 300 seals and around 20 seal pups being born half way along the seal walk is a pub called Nelson Head with great reviews. 30 minute drive from the park.

Davenport Magic Kingdom

Open to the public between 11.30am and 4pm on a Wednesday and Saturday. “An exciting time travel through 500 years of magical entertainment” a live 30 minute magic show is included in the admission price and try your hand at the different magic tricks, puzzles and puppets in the puzzle zone. 10 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Mundesley Beach

Lunch at The Ship Inn, Mundesley beach is a short 10 minute drive from Norfolk Park, the views from the cliff tops are spectacular, there is a cinema for children. 9 minutes’ drive from Norfolk Park.

Trip to Congham Hall in Kings Lynn

Beautiful Georgian manor house set in Norfolk countryside, visit the herb gardens and have lunch in the 2 AA Rosette restaurant within the house, 1 hour 12 minutes’ drive from Norfolk Park.

Afternoon at Blickling Hall

The breath-taking red-brick mansion and ancient yew hedges sit at the heart of a magnificent garden and historic park in the beautiful Bure meadows. Explore the long gallery, with the most important book collection in the country, 55 acres of garden and take a tour of the grounds and lake, only 22 minutes from the park.

Trip to Holkham Estate

Beautiful gardens and home to the 8th Earl of Leicester. The estate features water fountain, marble hall, outdoor active centre for children, the sandy beach is a short walk from the estate, 59 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Shopping in Wroxham Town

There is a good selection of shops in Wroxham, the most famous one being Roy’s of Wroxham, probably the largest village store in the country. It offers a huge range of merchandise from clothes, toys, garden equipment, plants, books, home-ware, electrical goods, as well as an excellent supermarket, and is open seven days a week. 15 minute drive from Norfolk Park.

Africa Alive

Fantastic day out for all the family, animals include giraffes, lions, and leopards. Drive through the “plains of Africa” in a 30 minute drive. Free train ride taking you around the park. 1hr 13 minutes from Norfolk Park
